A hosting provider's problem is protecting the shared IP reputation of thousands of customers; an enterprise's problem is inbound phishing; an e-commerce site's problem is order emails that never arrive. MailGuard deploys the same infrastructure in different ways.
Outbound relay and inbound filtering setup for your server panel — step-by-step guide, comparison and FAQ.
On a shared server, a single customer's compromised site ruins delivery for the hundreds of domains using the same IP. Your support team spends its days on blacklist removal requests.
You run Exchange or your own mail server; the real issue is inbound threats and compliance.
The problem isn't spam, it's delivery: order confirmations, password resets and invoice emails aren't landing in the inbox.
Your MX record is pointed to us. Inbound mail is delivered to your server after passing reputation checks, authentication, content analysis and virus scanning. The reject decision is made during the SMTP session — we don't accept mail and then generate a bounce, which would cause backscatter.
Your servers' outbound mail leaves through us. After rate limiting, content inspection and connection-reputation checks, it is signed with DKIM and delivered from the pool IP assigned to you. Blocked messages are never silently dropped; the source server receives a permanent error and the user is informed.
Authenticated relay for your application servers, forms and business workflows. The connection address is relay.mailguard.com.tr, on ports 587 (STARTTLS) and 465 (direct TLS). The address resolves to two independent nodes; if one is unreachable, sending continues through the other.
Your existing mail server keeps running; you only route outbound delivery through us. User accounts, mailboxes and webmail stay on your side. For authentication you either define an SMTP user or authorize your server's IP address — the latter is the most practical option for cPanel and Plesk and needs no extra configuration on the server side.
Tell us about your current setup, your volume and the delivery problems you're facing, and we'll put together a realistic migration plan and price. We don't charge a separate fee for a trial setup.
